If you have a KCH-19 Remote head you will need to use the MR-65X connected to the base of the radioMOBILE RADIOMR-47X(p/n 110-5131-30) This requires using the EFJ/Kenwood KCT-72 adaptor for the MR-47X to plug into. This will work with up to 3 transceivers connected to the head and RX Audio will be available through the MR-47X to the intercom. Programming the radio using Armada Software in the Interface type set to "Kenwood Control Head 20". Then in the Global settings under the Mobile options tab, the CH1 Input 1 needs to be set to "External PTT". For VM7000 radios with DUAL KCH-20 Remote Heads make sure Interface type is set to "Kenwood Control Head 20". Then in the Global settings under the Mobile options tab, the CH1 & CH2 Input 1 needs to be set to "External PTT".

If using the Kenwood KCT-72 adaptor for the MR-47X to plug into, it will disable the hand mic from working unless the firmware update is done. This will work with up to 3 transceivers connected to the head and RX Audio will be available through the MR-47X to the intercom.
