What is V2?
Sonetics V2 is the wireless communication system that we innovated more than 40 years ago, but we incorporated customer feedback to give you an even better experience. Sonetics’ industry-leading wireless headsets give teams hands-free communication with hearing protection and the ability to have a natural, real-time conversation.
What’s different about V2?
V2 is still the wireless communication system that customers have trusted and relied on since 1983 to create safer, more efficient workplaces; but we made enhancements to the audio quality, adjusted the headset buttons to be more responsive, and now you get better coverage and a faster connection.
Does V2 work with my older Sonetics system?
Yes. V2 works with all existing Sonetics Headsets and ComHubs you already have. If you’re thinking about adding more headsets to your current system, you can do this without having to replace your older headsets.
Can I update my older headsets to V2 headsets?
No, because V2 uses a new system architecture. Any new V2 headsets you buy can be used with your existing Sonetics system.
For the best performance from your existing headsets, make sure they are always equipped with the latest firmware. If it has been awhile since you’ve done an update, you may be missing out on important enhancements. Request your firmware upgrade now.
